A Little Bit Of Faith

To begin this blog, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my Pastor Kibsaim Jimenez, whose early morning prayers at 4 AM on weekdays have been a profound source of inspiration for today’s blog. I will share the link to his YouTube channel below.

A small measure of faith can truly work wonders, and I am living proof of that. Several years ago, I found myself in a dark place, contemplating that ending my life would be the simplest escape from the overwhelming negativity around me. It was not until I encountered Jesus Christ and felt His presence that I realized there was hope. Though my faith was small, it was enough to keep me going. Even though I did not immediately embrace a life fully devoted to Christ, that seed of faith remained within me. Today, I am genuinely happy, grounded in faith, and confident that if I call upon God to part the seas for me once more, He will do so. As my faith deepens and my prayers grow more constant, I am assured that my God will never abandon me.

 Let’s let it sink in

Let’s take a moment to marvel at the incredible power of faith and the steadfast presence of Jesus in our lives. Consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 17:20 (NIV), where He says, Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Isn’t that amazing? A mustard seed is one of the tiniest seeds, yet Jesus assures us that even faith this small can accomplish great things. Imagine the mountains in your life – challenges, fears, obstacles. With just a little bit of faith, you can command them to move!

How to keep the faith and know that Jehovah Elohim won’t leave

But how do we nurture this mustard seed of faith? We keep our eyes on Jesus, knowing that He is always with us. In Hebrews 11:1 (NIV), we’re reminded, Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Our faith isn’t just a fleeting hope; it’s a confident trust in God’s promises and His presence, even when we can’t see the full picture.

And let’s not forget the comforting words of Jesus in Matthew 28:20 (NIV), where He promises, And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. What a beautiful assurance! No matter where we are or what we’re facing, Jesus is right there with us. He never leaves us, and His presence brings us the strength and courage we need to keep moving forward in faith.

let’s hold onto this truth: a little bit of faith can move mountains, and Jesus is always by our side. As we trust in Him, let’s encourage one another and walk boldly in faith, knowing that with God, all things are possible.

Keep believing, keep hoping, and watch those mountains move!
