Diving In
Faith is all about believing even when we can’t see. It can be tough to trust Jesus when we don’t see His work right in front of us, but it’s during these times that our faith really gets stronger. We might not always see quick miracles or get our prayers answered right away, but we can be sure that Jesus is working behind the scenes in ways we might not understand.
There’s a Way Out
Are you navigating through a tough situation and can’t seem to find a way out? Almost always, when we let go of the need to control every aspect and simply trust, we open ourselves up to experiencing His divine plan, which is more beautiful and better than anything we could have imagined. Jesus will make way when there’s no way.
Faith
It takes obedience to have faith—obedience in following the instructions that God has given us, even when we don’t yet see or experience the promises He has made. Remember the Israelites who walked with Moses? When they saw the Egyptians coming after them, they became afraid and wanted to go back to slavery. They didn’t understand or trust God’s plan and would have rather return to bondage than have faith in Him. But there was one person with enough faith and obedience to trust God. Because of that, God parted the Red Sea, allowing them to walk through on land, and shortly after, the same sea defeated their enemies. God provided a way when there seemed to be none.
Reflect
Faith is like planting seeds in a garden. We may not see the growth immediately, but with time and trust, we begin to witness the beautiful blossoms of God’s work. Building this trust means realizing that God’s plans are bigger than what we can grasp. The more we lean on Him, the more we start to notice the little miracles in our everyday lives. It could be something as simple as a kind word from a friend or even the encouragement from this blog, reminding us that Jesus is at work, creating a hopeful and promising future for us.
