Who Is Jesus?

Who Is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, that’s a summarized answer, but sometimes we fail to observe the whole meaning, just saying the name Jesus can change the atmosphere.

Our Father in Heaven sent his only son on a mission, and it all started with Adam and Eve when they ate from the forbidden fruit. Jesus knew that his purpose here on earth was to redeem us through his perfect life, his sacrifice of salvation, and his victorious resurrection. Even though he was sent from our Father in Heaven he had a choice to end the mission at any given moment, but he didn’t because of his love for us, he did not want Heaven without us. Jesus is why we can ask for forgiveness and live in his glory.

With that being said, to make it to the Father you have to go through Jesus. Jesus is the truth and the only way. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Meaning that the Father The Son, and The Holy Spirit are one, once we accept this we will live in Jesus and Jesus will live in us.

What happens when we accept Jesus as our lord and savior?

Accepting Christ as our Savior means we receive instant justification before God (Romans 10:10). We are reconciled to him and now have a relationship with the Creator of the universe. We are saved from being trapped in sin when we accept Jesus as our lord and savior. Accepting Jesus is being renewed positively. God loves us and has a plan for us!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

What is expected in our journey with God?

Whoever tells you that being a Christian is easy, they’re not steering you well! being a Christian means allowing God to take complete control of our lives and sometimes that comes with reforming us to mold us into something greater, when we go through any process the enemy tries to tempt us because he doesn’t want us to have a strong relationship with God, and this is why as Christians we pray and fast constantly because we need to make sure nothing the enemy has planned can get in between of our relationship with God. God doesn’t promise financial success, wealth, or an easy life to Christians. Rather, He promises that He will strengthen us when we need it and rely on him and that we will be rewarded in heaven, now that doesn’t mean none of those things can’t happen, it just simply means whatever God has stored for you, will be yours if you’re available and willing.

Accepting Jesus as your lord and savior

“Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God and Savior of the world. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to God. I choose now to turn from my sins, self-centeredness, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. Forgive me of my sins. I give myself to you now.”
